We primarily focus on the layers of a system where data is stored, moved, and managed: file system and storage architecture, the I/O path, caching and the storage hierarchy, distributed and networked storage, and the device and application interfaces underneath and above all of it.

Engagements range from a written design review to sustained implementation work.

Our own software

Alongside client work, PACEtree LLC develops and publishes software under its own name — beginning with an educational game for iPhone and iPad, currently in development.

We build software that does not collect personal information, because we believe most software does not need to.

What we are building
